Last semester I took a Color Theory class for my studio art minor. The entire class we used gouache. It was a nice class but
expensive. Unlike today we were instructed how to use the gouache and told not to let it show through the paper. experimenting today we saw that the thinner the paint is the better it looked. This contradicted everything I was told last semester and left me unexpected. I thoroughly enjoyed the difference from paper to glass. I also wasn't expecting to enjoy the salt as much as I did. The outcome turned out really nice and it makes me excited to start this project.
Ahhhh...breaking the rules and finding it fun. Love it!
